Do not plan to crate a large dog. It's not a good idea to ever, ever crate/kennel a large dog. If you will be away from home for several hours at a time and need to confine your big dog, then it is fine to gate him off in a family room or kitchen. Crating a large dog will prevent him from getting up and walking around during the day

A lot of law firm marketing is absolute science fiction. Some people in the marketing profession are suggesting that they can help lawyers catch the big fish. These people are selling diet pills to the gullible.

The biggest fish every caught was snagged today in the Mekong River in northern Thailand. If you read the Reuters account, you will see no reference to a marketing professional.

Marketing is about the following:

1) Having an offering that is actually valuable to the prospective client

2) Being able to genuinely differentiate yourself from your competition (that means knowing thyself and thy competition)

3) Communicating appropriately with the prospective client which involves an unimaginable amount of listening

Can we help people market effectively… yes, by being effective catalysts to help them choose a sensible strategy and helping them acquire the skills necessary to execute it.

Marketing, however, like fishing, is a routine… a methodology… a way of life… that is repeatable and repeated. The reason is that probability theory is a big part of marketing… yes, a numbers game. Over time, out of X tries, you will succeed Y times. If X/Y is 1/3 or better, you are on fire.

So those who promise you the big fish are deceiving you. Because like the biggest catfish ever caught, the catchers were fishermen who do this habitually and repeatedly. Anyone who tells you they can train you to go out one time and catch the big fish is indeed offering you a worm and I would recommend against taking the bait.

(For the true marketing professionals out there, I realize I am focussed here on a tiny fragment of the overall marketing process — indeed "sales" — permit me the lattitude to make the point for those for whom marketing is not a primary are of study).

JEDDAH – Saudi Arabia is spending 2.5 billion riyals ($666.7 million) to expand the kingdom’s airports, the state news-agency SPA reported on Sunday.

“These projects include the development, creation and expansion of 23 airports, locally, that will serve around 9 million travellers annually,” SPA stated.

The projects include the creation of a new 20 million riyal airport in Taif, located on the Western mountains, as well as a 300 million riyal expansion of the Najran airport in the south to be completed next year.

Saudi Arabia, the largest Arab economy, boosted its spending on infrastructure
, education and healthcare last year in order to stimulate the economy during the global financial crisis.

The country has vowed to spend more than $400 billion as part of its plans to diversify the economy and upgrade its infrastructure, creating more jobs for its growing population of 18 million Saudis.

Positioned in Miyazaki, “Ocean Dome” has bagged the title of being the title of being the biggest indoor swimming pool ever made. Measuring 300 meters long and 100 meters wide, the pool is located around 500 meters above the sea.

11 year old Alabama boy, Jamison Stone, shot and killed this 1,060 pound, 9ft 4in wild hog with a .50 caliber hand gun. Crazy huge and impressive, yet sad that such an amazing animal had to die… Well at least it’ll go to good use as 500-700 pounds of sausage.

But don't kill Animals.Protect Nature.

The Liaoning Provincial Agricultural Museum is appealing to the Guinness Book of Records to recognise a 900 kg (1984 pounds) pig which died on February 5 as the biggest pig ever. When the pig died it was 2.5 metres long, had a waistline of 2.23 metres and a tusk of 14.4 centimetres long.

According to XU Changjin, a farmer of Wafangdian city, the pig was only 5 years old. He kept his pig in a good built sty and gave it quality food all its life.
