World's Largest Cruise Ship --"Oasis of the Sea"

For those who love cruise ships, here’s a few pictures of the new Oasis Of The Seas, which is now the largest cruise ship in the world! It arrived at it’s new home in Port Everglades here in Florida last week. Owned by Royal Caribbean International, it’s a floating city, and a big one at that!

Oasis Of The Seas is 1,184 feet long and more than 226,000 tons. The 5,400-passenger ship with a crew of 2,000 cost 1.5 billion dollars to make. Darn, I guess I can’t afford a copy! No other cruise line seems interested in topping it, so I think it will remain the largest cruise ship for some time.

Personally it looks a bit top heavy to me, especially in the second picture. Somehow it looks like a big wave hitting it broadside would flip it right over. It has 16 decks, a damn high ship! That’s a lot of weight above the waterline. But I’ll never be able to afford to go on it anyway. Cool ship, no matter what!

Inferno hauls greet the world’s largest cruise ship, the Independence of the Seas as she enters in the U.K. for the first time on 25 April in Southampton, southern England. This giant 160,000 tonne yacht will function all through the year from the city. Valued at $793 million (Euros 508 million), this Royal Caribbean cruise ship was constructed in the Aker Finnyards drydock in Turku, Finland and is the dual biggest sail liner together with her sister ships Freedom of the Seas and Liberty of the Seas. It draws contrast with the Titanic in terms of her giantly size by being 230ft longer than the Titanic. Right after Titanic met misfortune, the largest cruise ship has proved to be a risk for her owners, who witnessed a surge in fuel prices and calming down of global economy within three years of commissioning of ship.

The pool of facilities offered by this princess includes a 2,000-seater dining room, a choice of an ice rink, a 1,350-seat theatre, a surf simulator and a nine-hole miniature golf course. The naming ceremony for the ship is due on 30 April before she boards on her foremost paying journey on 2 May.

Ingredients of the Rio Carnival

One of the most involved groups in Rio Carnival are the poorest neighborhoods, the so called favelas. The favelas are shantytowns or slums, in which houses are made of cardboard or other scraps, and they are often without water, electricity and sewage system. However, no matter how bad a situation the favelas´ residents are in, they join in the festivities and they actually "make" the Carnival in Rio. Carnival really means a lot to them, because for once during the year they get to go out and have as much fun as they can. And you will see, they can indeed.

Residents of the favelas are often members of a local samba school and are deeply involved with the performance and costumes of their groups. Carnival and samba is their passion alongside football.

Gays and drag queens come and help out and become very involved in Rio Carnival. For everyone, this is a time to come together as a whole and have fun together. Brazil once becomes the most tolerant society. Gender and social boundaries vanish as many paraders crossdress.

They may try to organize it, glamorize it, televise it, even industrialize it but Rio Carnival is something that comes deep from the fun-loving soul of the Rio people. It does not depend on any authority or sponsor to happen. Carnival in the streets is a living proof of this passion. It's free, and everybody's welcome to participate .

World's Biggest and Largest Dogs ever seen

Dog lover if you was really a dog lover, you will shock after see this weird and bizarre picture of the world's biggest dog ever, i don't know whether this is a photo shopped image or is it really original image?? check it out the world biggest dog ever..

Do not plan to crate a large dog. It's not a good idea to ever, ever crate/kennel a large dog. If you will be away from home for several hours at a time and need to confine your big dog, then it is fine to gate him off in a family room or kitchen. Crating a large dog will prevent him from getting up and walking around during the day

World's Largest Fish ever seen

World's Largest fish caught by these people .This is very great for the fisher mans.

World's Biggest Fish ever seen

A lot of law firm marketing is absolute science fiction. Some people in the marketing profession are suggesting that they can help lawyers catch the big fish. These people are selling diet pills to the gullible.

The biggest fish every caught was snagged today in the Mekong River in northern Thailand. If you read the Reuters account, you will see no reference to a marketing professional.

Marketing is about the following:

1) Having an offering that is actually valuable to the prospective client

2) Being able to genuinely differentiate yourself from your competition (that means knowing thyself and thy competition)

3) Communicating appropriately with the prospective client which involves an unimaginable amount of listening

Can we help people market effectively… yes, by being effective catalysts to help them choose a sensible strategy and helping them acquire the skills necessary to execute it.

Marketing, however, like fishing, is a routine… a methodology… a way of life… that is repeatable and repeated. The reason is that probability theory is a big part of marketing… yes, a numbers game. Over time, out of X tries, you will succeed Y times. If X/Y is 1/3 or better, you are on fire.

So those who promise you the big fish are deceiving you. Because like the biggest catfish ever caught, the catchers were fishermen who do this habitually and repeatedly. Anyone who tells you they can train you to go out one time and catch the big fish is indeed offering you a worm and I would recommend against taking the bait.

(For the true marketing professionals out there, I realize I am focussed here on a tiny fragment of the overall marketing process — indeed "sales" — permit me the lattitude to make the point for those for whom marketing is not a primary are of study).
