Today, Angelina Jolie is one of the most admired celebrity moms in the world. She has followers who are totally devoted, but also now has critics, who presume that her image of mother of six kids is simply a publicity gimmick.
While it will be a bit of a too much to discount her role as a mother of six kids just a publicity stunt, it is true that at times she has tried to make big money out of things that should have been kept personal. For instance, when Angelina featured in People’s Magazine issue back in 2008 with her twins, it is believed that she demanded $12m for the photos of Knox and Viv. That edition sold a record 2.5 million, way up from its average of 1.4 million. Many then questioned whether it was a good thing for an actress of Jolie repute to do business with her newly born twins.
She is now also criticized for portraying her four-year-old daughter Shiloh as tomboy. All this, many critics argue, do not make her a good mom at all. While everyone loves Jolie’s acting and her humanitarian works, such aberrations obviously give substance to a group of people who look things the other way. Consequently, it will be now important for Jolie to change her ways of parenting. She otherwise will lose the admiration of many followers who till now regarded her super mom. (ENSNN)
